Our researchers Nermin Oruč and Amela Kurta participated at ESS ERIC workshop held on 28-29 March 2019 in Tivat, Montenegro.
The workshop brought together national representatives from countries in South East Europe to discuss recent experiences from the survey fieldwork. Representatives from the region discussed the potential for Round 10 (2020/21) participation and the potential for collaboration across the region.
The ESS is an academic cross-national survey which has been conducted every two years across Europe since 2002. It measures the attitudes, beliefs and behaviour patterns of diverse populations on a wide range of topics. The data gathered through the ESS allows academics, researchers and scholars to monitor change and stability and provides evidence for governments to formulate evidence-based policies that are supported by public opinion. Since the ESS was first fielded, 38 countries across Europe have participated in the survey.
